It’s official! Remy signs for Chelsea

Remy signs for Chelsea
Loic Remy has completed his move to Chelsea from Queens Park Rangers, after the Stamford Bridge club met his £8.5million buyout clause.
Jose Mourinho moved for the France international, after the Blues agreed a two-year loan deal with AC Milan for Fernando Torres.
Also, there was some late interest from Arsenal, Chelsea were able to confirm their man on Sunday afternoon.
“I feel very happy and very proud,” he told Chelsea’s official website. “When I heard Chelsea wanted to sign me I said ‘let’s go’ straight away because they are one of the best clubs in the world.
“I remember the amazing atmosphere at Stamford Bridge when I played there for Marseille and I can’t wait to play for the first time in front of my new fans.”
Remy scored 14 times in the Premier League on loan at Newcastle last season and will battle Diego Costa and Didier Drogba, for a place in Chelsea’s starting XI.
