Orji Kalu urges Buhari to “immediately remove” fuel subsidy

Hehhe...Former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, has joined the campaign for the total removal of fuel subsidy in Nigeria.
Kalu, in an interview on CNN’s Quest Means Business, said he considered such move as a priority for President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
He noted that total removal of subsidy would make available petroleum products at all times as well as allow for active private sector participation.

Okowa suspends recruitment exercise into Delta Civil Service

Hehehe...Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has suspended the ongoing recruitment exercise into the state civil service.
A statement signed by the state Head of Service, Patrick Origho, Governor Okowa said it is public knowledge that there were sharp practices ranging from abuse of office to sale of jobs slots.
“The recruitment cannot by any stretch of imagination be adjudged credible. No flawed process produces a credible exercise, it said.

Funeral service and internment will hold at the same venue today Saturday, May 30 from 10am while reception follows immediately at the same venue. May his soul rest in Peace.. Amen

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday advised the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, not to single out his administration in any probe he may want to carry out after his inauguration on Friday.

He said all those advising Buhari to probe his administration must also advise him to extend his probe beyond his regime or else, the probe will be seen as a witch-hunt.

Jonathan made his position known at the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council which he presided over at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Chai..Girl dies after being electrocuted in Ghana

So so sad....A young Ghanaian girl identified as Blandine (pictured above) was on May 25th electrocuted to death after the power bank she was using to charge her phone got stuck on her skin and electrocuted her. According to reports from Dumsor, Ghana, the girl was chatting with a friend when she fell asleep and placed the power bank she was using to charge her phone around her breast region. She had connected the power bank to an electricity source so it can charge when power is restored. As power was restored to her area, their was a power surge, the power bank got heated and got stuck on her skin, electrocuting her to death. Her parents found her dead. So sad!
