EFCC declares bank IT staff wanted [PHOTO]

An IT staff of a new generation bank (name withheld) has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly defrauding the bank to the tune of N6.28 billion.
In a release issued the Commission’s website, it said the suspect, Godswill Onyegwa Uyoyou, was an IT staff of the bank he defrauded. It was alleged that he connived with some scammers to hack into his bank’s database to steal the money.
Details of the wanted man posted on the Commission’s website shows that he was 38-year-old. He hails from Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State. His last known address is No. 7 Balogun Akarutu Street, off Tijani Salako, Ile-epo Ashamu Estate, Ejigbo-Lagos.
The EFCC, has declared that it was determined to apprehend and try Uyoyou. It has requested members of the public to report him if he is seen anywhere.
“The public is hereby notified that Godswill Oyegwa Uyoyou, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Obtaining Money under False pretence and Electronic Transfer of Fund,” the release disclosed.
