Former Nigerian military dictator, Ibrahim Babamosi Babangida is currently hospitalized in Germany.
According to a new report by Sahara Reporters, the former Army General, popularly referred to as “IBB” was rushed to Germany 10 days ago from his hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger State.
Although, not much is known at the moment, sources claim Mr. Babangida’s ailment relates to a chronic back ailment for which he earlier had surgery in Germany.
The online portal further claimed that, President Goodluck Jonathan, who departed Nigeria for the annual United Nations General Assembly, will pay a visit to the ailing general in Germany later today.

According to reports, IBB was rushed to Germany 10 days ago from his hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger State.
Babangida is reportedly suffering from a chronic back ailment.
It is also believed that he had undergone a previous surgery for the same problem, a while ago, in Germany.
Meanwhile, a lot of hate comments have continued to pour in from the different social media platforms.
Rather than wish him well, many Nigerians condemned and wished him dead.
“It is a big shame that he has to seek medical treatment outside Nigeria. While he was a ruler, he neglected medical care in Nigeria and only concentrated on stealing and enriching himself. If only he had been wise enough to invest in a proper health care service for the country, he most probably would have been a beneficiary of his legacy today and not having to be rushed, wasting valuable time that could prove fatal in the sad end.” One Sunny Oke wrote on his facebook page.
“Dele Giwa is after you. I pray that you will never recover from this illness. As you inflicted terrible suffering on many Nigerians by your corruptible dealings, so shall this illness deal with you. The last few years of your life, you will enjoy in pain and suffering. You will never find rest in your doing.” Another Olaitan Alli wrote on the facebook page.
