UEFA Champions League: Ronaldo scores twice in Real Madrid rout, Sevilla hold Liverpool


Hehehe.....Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, as Real Madrid defeated APOEL Nicosia 3-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The defending champions began their campaign on a very comfortable note, seeing off the Greek side at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo, who is currently serving a domestic ban, opened scoring in the 12th minute. His second came from the penalty spot early in the second half.
Sergio Ramos’ overhead kick wrapped up a fine night for the Spanish giants.
In the other game in Group A, Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham saw off Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at Wembley.
Liverpool had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Sevilla in Group E, on their return to the Champions League. In the other group game, Maribor and Spartak Moswcow played out a 1-1 draw.
John Stones scored a brace as Manchester City got their Group F campaign off to a perfect start, with a 4-0 hammering of Feyenoord at the De Kuip Stadion.
In the group’s other match, Shakhtar Donetsk stunned Napoli 2-1, thanks to goals from Taison and Facundo Ferreyra.
In Group G, last season’s semifinalists Monaco were held 1-1 by upstarts RB Leipzig at Red Bull Arena and Besiktas began their campaign with a 3-1 win away to Porto.
