It is with a deep sense of loss and sadness that the Executive Council of the Paediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN) received the news of the sudden death of PAN Elder - Dr. Angela Okolo, a renowned Professor of Paediatrics, Chief Consultant Neonatologist, impactful medical educator, and highly dedicated PAN member & elder.
Though shocked by the unforeseen nature of her demise, we remain grateful to God for an impactful life well spent.
We cherish the opportunity to have connected with her at the just concluded PANConf 2026.
We pray for the peaceful and eternal repose of her soul.🙏🏼
May God grant her family, associates and PAN the fortitude to bear this huge loss.
The PAN Platforms will observe a 24hrs silence in honor of our dearly departed Elder.
