Budget Padding: Nigerians Will Hear The Truth Sept. 13 – Reps Member

House of Reps
hehehehe....Ahead of the September 13 resumption date of the House of Representatives, the member representing Epe Federal Constituency in Lagos State, Wale Raji, has assured Nigerians that the truth about the alleged budget padding would be revealed, as the leadership of All Progressives Congress, APC, has declared zero tolerance to corruption.

A former Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, had alleged that the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara and 12 other lawmakers inserted fictitious projects into the 2016 budget worth over N200 billion.
Mr. Dogara and his co-accused denied all the allegations, accusing Jibrin of making wild, baseless and unsubstantiated allegations.
In his reaction yesterday, Mr. Raji stated that those accusing lawmakers of going through the back door to collect cash should investigate and provide evidence to relevant agencies.
“The only thing I can say is to appeal to Nigerians to be patient. They will definitely hear all about it when the House resumes on September 13”, he added.
