Super Eagles reportedly receive no match bonues after defeat to Congo

Players of the Super Eagles were only paid their $1,400 camp allowances, after their 3-2 loss to Congo in Calabar last weekend, according to reports.
A source told The EagleOnline, that the players were not offered any match bonuses.
“The players have gotten their training allowance and no one was ready to give them bonus because of the outcome of the game against Congo,” the source said.
The Eagles were usually paid $10,000 as winning bonus, before the sum was halved to $5,000.

Meanwhile, the Eagles will take on South Africa in a must-win second game of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series on Wednesday.
