The drama has started. The Department of State Security, DSS, says it will be inviting former
Borno state governor, Alimodu Sheriff, for questioning following
recent allegations leveled against him by Australian hostage negotiator,
Stephen Davis, who said he's a Boko Haram sponsor.
Speaking at a news
conference yesterday in Abuja, spokesperson for DSS, Marilyn Ogar, said
the former governor had in the past been invited to the DSS office for
questioning over Boko Haram activities and they will be inviting him
again. Marilyn Ogar also dismissed insinuations that former Army chief, Lt. Gen
Azubuike Ihejirika is a Boko Haram sponsor, describing it as untrue,
uncharitable & wicked. Well, we are watching....
