CNPP raps Asari-Dokubo over comments on Buhari

More condemnations have come the way of Alhaji Mujahideen Asari-Dokubo over his recent statement that Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) masterminded last Wednesday assassination attempt on his life, which claimed scores of lives.
This time, the Conference of Nigeria Political Parties, CNPP, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Osita Okechukwu, described Dkubo’s comments as the height of recklessness and sheer irresponsibility.
According to the CNPP, Dokubo’s comment, to say the least, was the height of recklessness and sheer irresponsibility, adding that even the enemies of General Buhari vowed for his integrity, patriotism, uncommon sincerity of purpose and transparency.
“One can understand that Asari- Dokubo is one of the beneficiaries of the present administration, which made it possible for him to own a university. However, one is at a loss why the hate monger now possesses more information on state matters than President Goodluck Jonathan”, he said.
Positing that from all indications, Asari-Dokubo’s diatribe was a betrayal of his phobia that the possible candidature of General Buhari in the 2015 presidential election, may put an end to the slush fund accruing to him.
Okechukwu added that “going further, one may also ask ethnic jingoists like Asari- Dokubo, who preach hate; whether late General Mohammed Shuwa, Emir of Gwoza and uncountable Nigerians masterminded their deaths?”
He alleged that it was now self evident that Asari- Dokubo is privy to critical state security information on the Kaduna mayhem and should be interrogated by security agents.
