THANK YOU MATTHEW TOLANGHA AND TOMPOLO FOR TRANSFORMING OKERENKOKO GENERAL HOSPITAL GBARAMATU KINGDOM.

In a world where access to quality healthcare still remains a challenge for many riverine communities, hope has found a home in Okerenkoko General Hospital, Gbaramatu Kingdom—thanks to the extraordinary humanitarian efforts of two distinguished sons of the soil, **Matthew Tolangha** and High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo.

Boat Ambulance given to the hospital

Through a powerful partnership driven not by obligation but by compassion, vision, and an unwavering commitment to human life, this once modest health facility has been transformed into a center of medical excellence—one now reckoned with across the region.

The recent intervention by Maton Engineering Company, which saw the donation of a **boat ambulance** and a **firefighter truck**, is nothing short of life-saving innovation.

In riverine terrains where water is the primary route, a boat ambulance is not just equipment—it is the thin line between life and death. It ensures rapid emergency response, timely referrals, and access to critical care for patients who would otherwise be stranded by geography.

Through the **Tompolo Foundation**, the hospital has continued to provide **free medications, laboratory investigations, and essential healthcare services** to the people. This has significantly reduced the burden of out-of-pocket medical expenses, improved early diagnosis, and enhanced treatment outcomes within the community.

Equally remarkable is the contribution of **Matthew Tolangha**, whose generosity continues to redefine healthcare delivery in Gbaramatu Kingdom. His donation of a **fully equipped ambulance** and an **₦80 million solar power system** has addressed two major barriers in rural medicine—emergency transportation and uninterrupted power supply.

With stable electricity, critical units such as laboratories, pharmacies, and cold chain systems for vaccines can now function optimally, ensuring quality and safe patient care at all times.

Through **EMT Foundation**, co-founded with his wife, **Mrs. Esther Tolangha**, his legacy of compassion continues to touch lives, strengthen healthcare systems, and restore dignity to patients who once had limited hope.

These interventions are not just projects—they are **lifelines**. They represent a deep understanding that healthcare is not a privilege, but a fundamental human right.

Today, Okerenkoko General Hospital stands not just as a structure, but as a **symbol of hope, resilience, and community transformation**.

May God continue to bless and uplift these two great sons of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Their commitment to humanity will remain etched in the hearts of generations to come.

Signed
