Respected colleagues and friends,
I am presenting myself for the office of the President of NMA because I understand, deeply and personally, the realities facing Nigerian doctors today. We work long hours in under-resourced facilities, face unsafe working conditions, inadequate remuneration, delayed career progression, and the painful loss of colleagues to migration. These challenges are real, and they demand leadership that is prepared,courageous, and strategic.
Over the years, I have equipped myself for this moment through service, dialogue, and consistent engagement with doctors across all cadres and regions. I am prepared to advocate firmly for improved welfare, safer work environments, fair policies, and a stronger voice for Nigerian doctors in national decision-making. My leadership will be built on consultation, collaboration with government and stakeholders, and unity within our association.
I am asking for your vote because this moment requires readiness, not rhetoric and you can be rest assured I won't let you down.
