Watford defender William Troost-Ekong, Fulham right-back Ola Aina, West Bromwich Albion’s Semi Ajayi and Ahmed Musa were among the first set of Super Eagles players to arrive the Lagos camp today, March 22, ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games against Benin and Lesotho.

The three-time African champions are scheduled to play Benin at the Charles de Gaulle Stadium on March 27 before hosting Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, on the 30th.

Troost-Ekong first arrived on Sunday night while Aina and Ajayi followed.

Shortly after the trio's arrival from England, Galatasaray players Henry Onyekuru and Oghenekaro Etebo landed in Lagos.

Super Eagles captain Musa, who has been a free agent since he left Saudi Professional League club Al Nassr in October is also already in Lagos.

Other players to arrive camp late Monday night include Ebuehi and Alex Iwobi.

From the local Nigerian league, Abia Warriors defender Adeleke Adekunle, Enyimba striker Anayo Iwuala, and goalkeeper John Noble joined Gernot Rohr’s squad on Monday.

A win for Nigeria in either of the matches will be enough to grant them qualification for the Afcon tournament for the 19th time as they currently lead Group L with eight points after four matches while Benin trail them by one point.
