Two passengers who were on same flight with index case of Coronavirus in Nigeria have been identified and reached - Lagos Health Commissioner, Prof Abayomi
The two Nigerian men who had contact with the index COVID-19 patient aboard a Turkish Airlines flight to Lagos have been found, after the Lagos state government called for help to locate them.

The Lagos state Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi during a media briefing on COVID-19 update on Wednesday in Lagos, said that the two men were identified within 24 hours of going public with their names and had contacted the ministry.

Akin Abayomi confirmed that both men are now in their custody
''The 2 persons we couldn’t find from the Turkish flight of the index case have been identified and reached. Thanks to the media for putting the names out and assisting us in getting the persons. This shows that Lagosians are very responsive and responsible'' the Commissioner wrote on Twitter

Recall that after the Italian man was diagnosed with the viral disease in February, efforts to reach all the other passengers on the Turkish airlines flight to Lagos have been difficult. The Lagos state government on March 9th, called for help to locate them so they can be tested for the virus.
