Saraki speaks during the visit
The
President of the senate, Bukola Saraki as well as his deputy, Ike
Ekweremadu along with others have visited the family of the late Tony
Anenih.
Nigeria's senate president, Bukola Saraki has paid a visit to to the grieving family of the late Tony Anenih.
Saraki was not alone. He was joined on the condolence visit by his
deputy, Ike Ekweremadu and others. They met with Anenih's family
including his son, Tony Jr. whom Saraki reminded of his father's 'great
contributions' to Nigeria.
Tony Anenih, a former works minister, died on Sunday, October 28th, 2018.
The senate president shared photos from the visit on his Twitter page.
Talking about the visit, he wrote: "This morning, we visited the home of the late Chief Tony Anenih, who passed away last week.
"I reminded his son, Tony Jr., of the immense contributions of his father to our party, PDP, and our great nation.
"He will be missed."
