Nigerian Senator and ‘common sense’ advocate, Ben Bruce, is already 40 in his marriage and yes he is celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary with his wife, Evelyn Murray-Bruce.

Senator Ben Bruce is a front line Entertainer in Nigeria and West Africa. Ben Bruce single-handedly revolutionized the cinema business, he started the Silverbird Productions with a capital of N20, 000. Today, Ben Bruce has built a business empire running into several billions of Naira and he has provided platforms and employments for so many youths who are in need of it.
It was on his platform that the winner of Miss World was discovered in person of Agbani Darego. Mr. Ben Murray- Bruce is the chairman of the Silverbird group.While in the University, he incidentally fell in love with show business. He found out later in life that he was born to entertain people because of the joy he derived each time he did a show. Ben Murray- Bruce has been the biggest source of entertainment in Nigeria and West Africa since he started. In fact, he says that “his business is all about entertainment”. Ben was born in Lagos, Nigeria in 1956, precisely on February 18th to an Ijaw mother, Margaret Murray- Bruce from Akassa and father whose name is Mullighan. As a public Servant, Ben’s father was one of the few men who worked with the UAC. He attended Primary and Secondary School in Lagos state before he proceeded to the University of Southern Carolina to study Marketing and Business Administration.
Ben Murray- Bruce is married to Evelyn, an American with two boys and a girl. One of his boys called Jonathan Bruce is married and also managing one of the chains of Silverbird group.
