A Heartfelt Summary of the OMIWA Foundation USA 2-Day Free Medical Outreach – Enugu State (4th–5th July, 2026)
There are moments that remind us that humanity is at its finest when compassionate people come together to serve. The OMIWA Foundation USA 2-Day Free Medical Outreach, held on 4th and 5th July, 2026, was one of those remarkable moments.
For two unforgettable days, hope replaced despair, healing replaced pain, and countless families experienced the love of humanity through quality healthcare delivered completely free of charge.
Behind every consultation was a smile restored. Behind every medication dispensed was renewed hope. Behind every volunteer was a heart committed to making lives better.
The impact of this outreach speaks for itself:
A total of 672 patients received free medical care over the two days.
46 patients benefited from specialized dental consultations and treatment, relieving long-standing oral health challenges.
205 patients underwent essential laboratory investigations, enabling accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
163 patients received comprehensive eye examinations and care, with many discovering eye conditions that might otherwise have gone untreated.
The Tuberculosis (TB) Unit attended to 149 patients, strengthening efforts toward early detection, education, and treatment of TB.
125 individuals were screened in the HIV Unit, providing confidential counseling, testing, and an opportunity for early intervention and healthier living.
These numbers represent far more than statistics—they represent fathers who can now work without pain, mothers whose health has been restored, children given a healthier future, and elderly men and women who found comfort, dignity, and hope through compassionate medical care.
This success would never have been possible without the unwavering commitment of our sponsors, dedicated medical professionals, laboratory scientists, pharmacists, nurses, dentists, optometrists, counselors, volunteers, community leaders, and every individual who sacrificed their time, expertise, and resources for the sake of humanity.
Your selfless service demonstrates that true greatness is measured not by what we possess but by the lives we touch.
To the wonderful people of Enugu, thank you for your warm reception, cooperation, and trust. Serving you was both an honor and a privilege.
As we celebrate this successful outreach, we also remember that many communities still lack access to quality healthcare. This achievement inspires us to continue reaching the underserved, one community at a time, because every life matters and every person deserves access to quality healthcare.
Together, we are not merely treating illnesses—we are restoring hope, strengthening communities, and leaving a legacy of compassion that will endure for generations.
To God Almighty be all the glory for making this mission a resounding success.
