PROBLEM......Nwoye, Obiano at war over achievements in Anambra

hehehehe.............The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State, Dr Tony Nwoye has called to question the achievements of the incumbent governor of the state, Chief Willie Obiano, saying that the administration has failed.
Nwoye who spoke to journalists after a meeting with the state executive council of the party, described Obiano’s government as an unmitigated disaster, saying that Obiano has further impoverished the people of the state.

In a swift reaction, however, Obiano said Nwoye did not possess the competence to be a local government chairman, let alone ruling a state as complex as Anambra.
Obiano added that those eyeing his seat should tell the people of the state what they would do differently to better their lots instead of engaging in calumnies and destructive campaigns.
Nwoye was at the state secretariat of the party to thanks the executives over his recent election as the candidate if the party, where he beat known politicians including Senator Andy Uba for the ticket of the party.
He said it pained him that most families in the state would hardly have a square meal daily and that his prime purpose of vying to lead the state was to put food on their tables once more.
He blasted the government of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the state, saying it had done anything tangible to address the people’s welfare, describing the government in the state as a failure.
“It’s not an exaggeration that many families in the state go to bed without one square meal while others have fled their homes because they could no longer provide the basic needs of life for their loved ones.
“This Administration has impoverished the people and all the sectors of the state economy are moribund. After three years of the Obiano administration, there is nothing to show for it, while poverty in the state has reached an unprecedented level.
But Obiano, speaking to us through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and communication, Prince Oliver Okpala, said no amount of hate campaigns against him would change the minds of the electorate in the state from voting for him in the November poll because his achievements were all over the place for people to see.
