SEE HIM.....Indian teen dies after accidentally shooting himself while taking selfie

Ramandeep Singh
A teenage boy in India has died after accidentally shooting himself in the head while taking a selfie.
Fifteen-year-old Ramandeep Singh was posing with his father's .32 caliber pistol on Friday evening when he accidentally pulled the trigger, according Manoj Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Pathankot, Punjab state.
The safety catch wasn't on, police said.
Singh was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery but died of his injuries on Sunday afternoon.
Statistics released earlier this year put India top of the list for selfie-related deaths.
Of 49 fatalities over three years worldwide, India accounted for 19 -- nearly 40% of the global total.
Earlier this year, the spate of deaths prompted authorities in Mumbai to impose no-selfie zones.
Police are instructed to step in if they see anyone attempting to take selfies in high-risk locations, including the seafront, a popular area for young people carrying selfie sticks.
Russian selfies 1Other countries including Russia are also taking action. Authorities there released a brochure after a spate of fatal accidents. It includes one graphic that reminds readers that "selfie with weapons can kill you."
