Economy Collapsing Under APC, Nigeria In Dire Need Of PDP – Secondus

Uche-Secondus
Hehehe...The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday repeated its observation on the economy – it is gradually sliding and getting into a state of collapse.

The acting national chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, made the observation during the special interdenominational thanksgiving, held at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, to celebrate the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed the election of Akwa Ibom Governor, Udom Emmanuel.
Secondus, who was unequivocal in his condemnation of the governing All Progressives Congress’ management of the economy, said Nigeria was in dire need of the PDP.
He also said enough is enough of the APC-led federal government’s harassment of states controlled by the PDP.
He said, “Nigeria is in dire need of the PDP. You can see the difference. The difference is very clear. Eight months ago, the exchange rate was N160 but today the exchange rate is N313.
“Eight months ago, vessels of ships of goods and services were competing how to enter into our harbour and seaports but none today.
“Our economy is sliding and it is getting to a point of collapse. The political situation in the country is in coma and we challenge the APC-led government that it is time for them to realise that they need the people and they do not need the guns because we are not in the military.
“We warn the APC-led government that Nigeria should not be a police state where our states are being harassed, our stakeholders are being intimidated. Enough is enough”.
Mr. Secondus, however, dedicated the victory of PDP in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Bayelsa and Abia States to God, saying had the Lord not been on their side, those he called enemies would have captured these states.
At the thanksgiving were Governors Ayo Fayose (Ekiti), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) and Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa).
