Sporadic shooting as armed robbers rob bank in Port Harcourt

Naija sha....Armed robbers, Wednesday evening, carried out an operation in new G.R.A, Port Harcourt, amidst heavy shooting.
The robbers according to eyewitness stormed a new generation bank at Birabi Street in GRA, shooting sporadically.


The gun shots left everyone scampering for safety, including police officers attached to the bank.
The development, which generated panic and tension, led to traffic gridlock in GRA and its environs.
Fidelis Chidi blog reports that following a distress call, the police re-enforced to the scene of the crime and pursued the robbers.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Muhammad said the operation was still on, adding that he could only give a clear picture of
what was happening at the end of the operation.
