Happy Birthday Mr President π₯³π₯π
GREAT LEADERS DON'T COMPETE WITH THEIR FOLLOWERS— THEY CREATE MORE LEADERS.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu didn’t rise alone.
He built people.
He saw potential in “ordinary” men and gave them platforms to become extraordinary.
Look around today — many who once walked with him are now leading:
Babajide Sanwo-Olu
Dapo Abiodun
Rauf Aregbesola
Kayode Fayemi
Babatunde Fashola
Akinwumi Ambode
Yemi Osinbajo
James Faleke
Sunday Dare
Dele Alake
Femi Gbajabiamila
Lai Mohammed
And so many others.
This is what true leadership looks like — lifting others until they can stand taller than you.
Don’t envy a man like Tinubu if you cannot:
- Build people
- Trust people
- Empower people
- Celebrate others rising
Because greatness is not in how high you climb.
It’s in how many people rise because of you.
At every level you're today, you're a leader with potential to influence people.
It could be at your workplace, mosque, church or community levels.
Seek to touch lives and help people grow.
I remember a friend of mine whose father was once a policeman.
So my friend came to Lagos and was looking for contract with the Lagos state government.
The man who was in-charge saw his name and asked him , "Are you the son of Inspector Michael Njoku who once served in Ogun state"?
He said yes and was thinking he was going to be in trouble.
The man told him, "Your father paid school fees for me so many times when I was in the university because my parents were late. He made sure I graduated without problems. But he got sick and they took him home and since then I haven't heard anything about him. Have been searching for him."
My friend told him his father died so many years ago.
Do you know what happened?
The commissioner gave him the contract and made him a contractor to the Lagos state government.
One good act of a father paved way for his son many years later.
This is how all powerful men became.
Are we ready to be like Tinubu in raising men?
Let's know your response.
