My Esteemed Hippocratic Colleagues,

I am *Dr. Lancy Nosa Orhue* (LNO), an alumnus of the University of Benin (MBBS) with postgraduate training in Community Medicine (FWACP). My professional journey spans years of rigorous training, dedicated service, and purposeful leadership, including my role on the National Remuneration Committee of the Nigerian Medical Association (*NMA*). These experiences have prepared me not just to serve, but to lead.

As we approach the *2026 NMA* elections, we stand at a defining moment. I hereby present myself, with humility and conviction, as a candidate for President of the Nigerian Medical Association (*NMA*) (2026–2028).

*My vision is clear and purposeful*: to mobilise, reactivate, and transform the Nigerian Medical Association into a truly formidable force that protects the welfare, dignity, and future of Nigerian doctors. Through inclusive leadership, transparent processes, and united action, we will rebuild trust, strengthen our Association, and reposition our profession for the respect and reward it truly deserves.

As we approach the *NMA ADM* in the coming months, I ask for your cooperation and unflinching support as I consistently unveil clear, actionable plans to transform the Remuneration, welfare and the defence of the Nigerian Doctors and the professions of medicine and dentistry. This is not mere rhetoric but a sacred commitment I have made.
