As the INEC’s continuous voter registration ended on Sunday, the registered voters in Nigeria have risen from 84 million to 96.2 million
NW has 22.67 million voters, the highest in the country, while SW has 18.3m, SS has 15.2m, NC has 14.1m, NE has 12.8m and SE has 11.49million.
A breakdown of INEC’s report showed that about 71% of the newly registered voters are youths. Of the 12.2 million voters, 8.7 million are between the ages of 18 and 34. The repot also showed that more women registered during the exercise than men, 6,224,866 women & 6,074,078 men.
