Joe Egbu, husband of gospel singer Sinach, has defended American music star Nicki Minaj after she was dragged by health experts over her claim that her cousin's testicles got swollen after he took the COVID-19 vaccine.
Nicki Minaj was accused of spreading misinformation about side effects of the Coronavirus vaccine, with claim of her cousin's friend's testicles swelling after receiving the jab and subsequently becoming impotent. She claimed it happened in Trinidad.
However Trinidad's Health minister, Terrence Deyalsingh said the rapper wasted their time as there is no report of such in the country.
Deyalsingh said;
"As we stand now, there is absolutely no reported side effect or adverse event of testicular swelling in Trinidad... and none that we know of anywhere in the world."
Sharing a video of Fox News Tucker Carlson defending Nicki Minaj and also claiming that "free speech is under attack" in the United States, Joe Egbu wondered when "being knowledgeable about what you take inside your body became an offence."
