President Muhammadu Buhari's media aide, Femi Adesina has confirmed that his principal tested negative for coronavirus after his Chief Of Staff, Abba Kyari tested positive for the virus.
Femi Adesina, said this when he spoke to newsmen at the state house in Abuja today March 25th. In his words
''That calls for rejoicing with him. Anybody that does the test and tests negative we rejoice with that person and anybody that does it and tests positive, it's not a death sentence. We also would pray along with the person, give the person our goodwill and best wishes and they will surelycome out of it.''
He also denied reports that some media houses have been banned from covering activities within the state house.
The confirmation came after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also tested negative for the virus after going into self-isolation.
Recall LIB reported earlier that Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President of Nigeria on Political Matters confirmed that Osinbajo tested negative for the virus after a medical test was carried out.
