Nigerian Doctor narrates how a mother begged her not to tell her husband that their child has Sickle Cell Disease

A Nigerian doctor who diagnosed a child that was brought in for medical check with sickle cell disease, took to Twitter to narrate how the child's mother begged him not to tell her husband about it.

According to the doctor, the woman confessed to cheating on her husband by disclosing that her husband's genotype is AA. @Adamsayeni tweeted;

A child was brought in by the mother with a PCV of 8%. We discovered that the child has Sickle Cell Disease. I informed the mother & asked her to come with the father so that I can counsel them together. She begged me not to tell the 'father' who is AA. Guys, DNA test is a must!
