RIP........Photos from the burial of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere leader Pa Reuben Fasoranti

The burial service for late Mrs. Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the leader of Pan Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, held at the St. David's Anglican Church Ijomu, in  Akure, the Ondo State capital today Monday July 22nd.


In attendance were the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, his counterparts from Ogun, Lagos, Ekiti and Oyo, Prince Dapo Abiodun; Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Dr. Kayode Fayemi; Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko and other dignitaries.

Olakunrin was shot and killed by armed bandits along the Benin-Ore Road on Friday July 12th.

Aged 58, she is survived by her aged father, husband Idowu Olakunrin, children and grandchildren. May her soul rest in peace, Amen. See more photos below
