Engineer Evans was in a ghastly motor accident last weekend, on his way to Uniben, from Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to his friend, late Evan recently gained
admission to pursue a Masters degree at the University of Benin (UNIBEN)
Read his tribute below:
Negodi nn??... What manner of life do we live here on earth?Engr. Evans a.k.a Igbo boy was my closest colleague back in the days in the university (Unizik). After Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering Department was split to give rise to Electrical Engineering (EE) and Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) Departments, Igbo boy served the EE and myself, the ECE as class representatives for five years, but both classes shared same classrooms, similar and almost same lectures. We worked and walked along at ease... Good times and sad moments; he was very industrious that he did many macro businesses to survive within the campus. Very agile, lively and sometimes could be loquacious tho (smiles)... Igbotic Igbo boy, after graduation kept fate with the hustle as being a graduate in Nigeria does not guarantee employment. He recently gained admission to pursue a masters degree in Uniben but a degree he pursued unto death. He died in a ghastly motor accident last weekend, on his way to Uniben (from Onitsha, Anambra State)Igbo boy, even in the brokenness of my heart, I commit your soul onto the merciful hands of your creator... Jee nke ?ma!
