It was a black weekend in Plateau state as suspected herdsmen stormed 11 communities and killed well over 100 persons, many were children and women. A group of mourners returning from a funeral were not spared as they were also killed.

The Miyetti Allah association has attributed the attack on the stealing of their cows by some cattle rustlers from the affected communities. The photos below show the corpses of those that were killed
