Chei..........The most painful thing to happen to any parent has happened to Nigerian musician, Dbanj.


The music star who arrived Los Angeles two days ago to attend the 2018 BET Awards is reported to have lost his only son, Daniel D'Third who celebrated his 1st birthday just one month ago.

Dbanj's son, who he welcomed with his wife, Lineo Didi Kilgrow, last year May, drowned at the family residence in Ikoyi today June 24th. D'banj wasn't at home at the time. The little boy's body has reportedly since been moved to a morgue in GRA.

There's no official statement from Dbanj to confirm the news but he shared an 'All black' image on his instagram page minutes ago with the caption, 'trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful'.

Nigerians and the entertainment industry as a whole has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Dbanj's 13-month old son, Daniel The Third who reportedly drowned in a pool today.

Fans and celebrities who simply can't swallow the bitter pill have all taken to socail media to mourn the death of Daniel who only celebrated his first birthday a month ago.

Don Jazzy wrote, 'Just heard the worst news in a long time'.

Dbanjs manager, Frank Amudo also wrote, 'Trying Times Try God. He Is Still Worthy Of All Our Praises ..

BET Awards:?Davido sends condolence message to Dbanj with his acceptance speech as he wins Best International Act
Last night, Davido won the Best 'International Act Award' at the 2018 BET Awards that held in Los Angeles.

Davido won the award ahead of other international stars like Booba (France)
Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Dadju (France), Fally Ipupa (Dr. Congo), J Hus (UK), Niska (France), Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Stefflon Don (UK) and Stormzy (UK).

In his acceptance speech, he sent a condolence message to Nigerian musician, Dbanj whose 13-month old son died just a few hours ago.
Senator, Ben Murray Bruce has joined other Nigerians in consoling musician, Dbanj who lost his 13-month old son yesterday.

According to the lawmaker, 'I am really really sad to read about the death of your lovely son. Death of a child is the saddest thing for any parent. On behalf of my family and I, please do accept our sincerest sympathy'.
