Biafra: Atiku speaks on quit notice to Igbos

hehehehe...Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has condemned the ultimatum issued by the Coalition of Northern Youths, CNY, that Igbos should vacate the North in three months.
Recall that the spokesperson of a Northern Coalition group, Coalition of Northern Youths, CNY, Abdulaziz Suleiman, had ordered Igbos to vacate the region in three months.

Speaking yesterday, Suleiman had said the entire Northern Nigeria was tired of coexisting with the Igbos and asked that “all Igbos currently residing in any part of Northern Nigeria are hereby served notice to relocate within three months and all northerners residing in the East are advised likewise.

“The persistence for the actualization of Biafra by the unruly Igbo of South-Eastern Nigeria has lately assumed another alarming twist which involved the forceful lockdown of activities and denial of other people’s right to free movement in the South-East by the rebel Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its overt and covert sponsors.”
Reacting to the threat, Ohanaeze Youths said the Igbos cannot leave after investing trillions in developing the region.
They asked the Igbos living in the North to prepare to defend themselve, as the Northern youths have declared war.
But the former Vice President, who took to his twitter handle, on Wednesday wrote: “Our country is too precious; our problems are too pressing to pander to divisive rhetoric.
“The ultimatum issued by a Northern youth coalition to the Igbos to quit the region is provocative, and a grave threat to national security.

“The counter response by a South-east group to Northerners is also reckless and thoughtless.”
