Hehehe.....Armed robbers on Monday attacked the Jos home of Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.The robbers who were four in number took away several valuable items including a white Toyota Highlander and an undisclosed amount of cash.The Fidelis Chidi blog learnt that no live was lost although they physically assaulted the father of the
Nigerian international.The footballer who spoke to a close friend in Nigeria from his base in Turkey, Onazi disclosed that the robbers pretended to be courier men with a letter to be delivered to his father.He said, “Those robbers came, pretending they were there to deliver a letter to my dad at about 1.40pm on Monday. But as soon as he collected their fake letter and asked where it was coming from they swooped on him, tied his hands, beat him up, inflicting machete cuts on him in the process.” They told him this is the first in a series of attacks that they will launch on our house and that I( Onazi) will be their target the next time.“Those guys took their time to take some valuable materials including car and some cash but I am thankful to God they didn’t do more than that.”Already, the brothers of the Eagles star and other family members have reported the incident to the police who have promised to bring the hoodlums to book and also help with the recovery of the stolen items.Ogenyi Onazi’s dad has also been discharged from hospital where he was treated for the injuries inflicted on him during the ordeal.

According
to the 23 year old midfielder who was in his Turkish house as at when
the incident happened, he is happy his dad, Pa Onazi wasn't killed
during the process.
When Fidelis Chidi blog contacted him to hear directly from him about the incident, he said
'My brother nothing more than what you've already heard'
'The
police are on the case now.They took some cash and some valuables and a
car but thank God they didn't do more than that' Onazi told us
''This people pretended to deliver a letter to my dad on Monday afternoon as soon as he opened the door, they attacked him, tied him with rope, hit him with machete and gave him wounds''
'After that they took a car and money and told him i'm next'
Onazi also said his family members are shaken by the incident but that he's grateful it didn't get worse than that.
