Iheanacho is expected to lead the team’s attack,,,,hehehe......
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has named the 23-man squad to take on Zambia in next month’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier.
In pursuing his mandate to secure the sole qualifying ticket from a tough qualifying group that also features former African champions Algeria and Cameroon, Rohr has named a strong team in the hope of making a perfect start at the October 9 clash in Ndola, Zambia.

Leading the list is captain Mikel John Obi, alongside in-form Manchester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, star winger Victor Moses and Arsenal’s rave of the moment Alex Iwobi.
Also included are Rio Olympics hero William Troost-Ekong, his new Eagles defensive partner Leon Balogun, dazzling winger Moses Simon and Brown Ideye.
All-action star Oghenekaro Etebo doesn’t make the list following his niggling injury, while Watford striker Odion Ighalo has been given time off to bury his father who passed during the summer break, Goal writes.
Gent midfielder Anderson Esiti returns to the side, alongside former youth star Isaac Success who comes in for club-mate Ighalo.
Camp opens October 2 in Abuja, a week before the blockbuster clash.
