Na wa ooo.....Initial report was 3 officers dead, 2 in surgery and 3 in critical condition in the wake of Dallas protest. Dallas Police officers say they think 2 snipers shot at 11 police officers from elevated position(s). The officers were shot during a Dallas peaceful protest in the wake of the 2 black men who were shot by Police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Minnesota. The officers were there to protect the protesters. No protester was said to be injured.

This is the face of one of the suspects who shot at 10 police officers during a peaceful protest in downtown Dallas in the wake of 2 black men killed by Police officers. Witnesses say the protest was peaceful and that the shooting started just as they were about to end the protest.
Update: the person pictured above has turned himself in and is now in custody of the police.

Update: A second suspect has also been apprehended after a shootout with the Police. He is now in police custody as well. Dallas Police Chief believe the suspects made bomb threats. SWAT team is securing a suspicious package found near the second suspect.

Update: the person pictured above isn't one of the snipers and has since been released.

Both snipers have been arrested and in police custody.

Misty McBride has been revealed as one of the injured police officers after four gunmen shot at 11 policemen and killed at least 5 of them during a 'Black lives matter' rally in Downtown Dallas on Thursday night. She was reportedly shot in the shoulder but will survive.

43-year-old Dart Officer Brent Thompson has been identified as one of the 11 police officers shot by Snipers during a protest over the recent killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Sterling by police..

Three of the gunmen who shot and killed the policemen are in custody. A fourth man, who was engaged in a shootout with police from a parking garage, has reportedly killed himself.

Dallas police chief, David Brown has revealed that the Sniper who killed 5 police officers and injured several others in Downtown Dallas on Thursday night during a 'Black lives matter' rally during negotiations with police said he wasn't affiliated to any terrorist organizations and his aim was to kill white policemen because he was angry at the recent police killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Police confirmed the unnamed man died when a robot detonated an explosive while he was holed up in a local college.

Dallas police chief David Brown revealed “We had an exchange of gunfire with the suspect. We saw no other option but to use our bomb robot.”

Chief David Brown has appealed for unity in the wake of the attacks, which left five police dead and nine wounded - seven of them cops - saying, "This must stop - this divisiveness between our police and our citizens."

Three suspects are in custody but police say the shooter is dead.
