Chei....Doctors and nurses strike everywhere....wetin dey happen sef

Na wa ooo.....Three labour  unions at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, comprising of medical doctors, nurses, midwives, and academic technologists have begun an indefinite strike action to protest non-payment of six years entitlements. A statement jointly signed by Aminu Mohammed, Hassan Garba and Yusuf Haruna for NADUHS, NAAT and NANNM,respectively and made available to LEADERSHIP Weekend in Abuja, yesterday, said that after wide deliberations,  the three unions have resolved to call out their members for an indefinite strike action. The grievances highlighted by the unions include non-payment of teaching allowances and specialist allowances to technologists and nurses. The unions also complained of non-implementation of shift allowances since 2010. Other grievances include non-payment of medical hazard allowances, relativity and clinical supplementation allowances.
