Brown Ideye is making a return to the Nigerian national team after he earned a call from the Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf on Wednesday.The player and 25 others have been called up for the friendly games against Mali and Luxembourg.The Olympiakos forward had been out of the Eagles line up since shortly after the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.Ideye celebrated his first league title with Olympiakos in the Greek League this
season.But he is not the only player making a return. Defenders Kenneth Omeruo, Leon Balogun and William Troost- Ekong are also back to the line. Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi of Chippa United, South Africa, who made a strong showing against Egypt in Alexandria last month, has been rewarded with another opportunity to be tested.Regulars such as Mikel Obi, forwards Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo and goalkeeper Carl Ikeme are also listed for the games.The three-time African champions will take on Les Aiglons of Mali in France on 27th May before flying to Luxembourg to take on the Europeans on June 1.Yusuf also selected relatively less exposed players that includes former U-20 skipper Musa Muhammed; former U-20 defender Gbenga Arokoyo; former U-23 midfielder Raheem Lawal, left-back Kingsley Madu and unknown Portugal-based defender Chidozie Awaziem.Ogenyi Onazi, Abdullahi Shehu, Elderson Echiejile, Moses Simon, Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Aaron Samuel are back to familiar terrain
