Hmmm....A certain Nigerian preacher of the Celestial Church of Christ, one Gabriel Omogbo, has been arrested in the United States for allegedly committing crimes across hotels.
According to WJLA-TV, channel 7, an ABC-affiliated television station in Washington, D.C., the 33-year-old Omogbo of Hyattsville, Maryland, had been in the habit of preaching the word of God on Sunday mornings and allegedly spending his nights hunting prostitutes at hotels.

An alleged profile on Facebook believed to be his, claims he preaches at the Celestial Church of Christ in Riverdale, New York City and he is a former student at Bowie State University. He also works as a security guard and currently lives at home with his parents.
According to reports on WJLA, Omogbo uses Backpage.com website to source for female escorts who he arranges to meet up with and then dupe them after sexual activities.
The first two attacks, reports claim, happened at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Rockville and on both occasions, he is accused of raping and stealing from two women he had met online.
However, the third attack took place at the Radison Hotel in Rockville, where he is accused of threatening a woman with a knife. He had ordered the woman to take off her clothes before reportedly telling her ‘You are going to die today.’
He allegedly beat her up, cutting her arms and legs and eventually stole her iPad, cell phone and $300. The woman however survived and reported to the police. She was said to have explained how he offered her a glass of water before fleeing the hotel room.
Reports further revealed Omogbo was arrested after police traced CCTV footage from the hotels as well as collecting DNA evidence from each of the rooms.
“CCTV footage showed a man matching Omogbo’s description wearing blue jeans and brown loafers entering and leaving the hotels at the time of the attacks.
“Omogbo is now being held at Montgomery County Correction Facility on a no bond status,” WJLA reports.
He will next appear in court on January 8, reports affirm, adding that he is charged with attempted first degree murder, armed robbery, first degree assault and reckless endangerment.
