Heehe....Ex militants under the aegis of the Niger Delta Liberation Force, NDLF, have released a statement blasting former Information minister and Ijaw leader, Edwin Clark over his comments about former president Goodluck Jonathan yesterday October 7th. “Chief Edwin Clark has no moral justification to condemn former President Goodluck Jonathan by saying that GEJ lacked political will to fight corruption. We are surprised at the unguarded comments from a man who called himself elder statesman.
Clark was part of the rot in GEJ administration, he should keep quiet and allow other Nigerians to judge GEJ stewardship. We see Clark’s statement against GEJ as the height of betrayal and backstabbing to find favour with the current administration. President Muhammadu Buhari should be warned to be distant himself from persons like Clark if he wants to end well. We support the ongoing anti-graft war and urge Buhari to extend the searchlight to people like Clark, who are fabulously rich. EFCC should track the various bank accounts of Clark and others, who do not hold formal government offices and known open businesses, but are stupendously wealthy. We urge Buhari to be impartial in his anti-graft war to bring all looters to book to create a new hope for the future generation of Nigeria,” the statement read

A former Federal Commissioner for Information, Chief Edwin Clark, has said former President Goodluck Jonathan and his predecessor in office, the late Umaru Yar’Adua lacked the courage and the political will to fight corruption.

Wonders shall never end. Clark leaves Jonathan and PDP? The Ijaw political party has sunk then if their leader has dumped them. Poor GEJ wonder what he will be thinking now. Failure is indeed an orphan.

No wonder Jonathan said friends have deserted him. We have people in Nigeria who have incumbent fever and as such ,anyone in power is who they support and they have a new political party called ISP (Incumbent Supporters Party). Papa, abeg make you retire, the example you dey teach the youths no good at all.

HMM! daddy clark, what did you tell Jonas when he did not fight corruption? Hmm SOME human being can change overnight!

Jonathan must be crying now. I have indeed learned a lot from the fall of GEJ. People can be wicked sometimes. Instead of the dumbo to give us good governance and write his name in gold he was busy empowering few criminals at the expense of the poverty ridden populace.

Now I believe that there’s no permanent friend in politics but permanent interest. GEJ may soon leave PDP too. LOL. God bless my dear country Nigeria.

People like him need to leave Pdp so that the party can have a breath of fresh air. They destroyed the party now they are on the run. The problem that has engulfed Apc today is caused by the same unscrupulous elements in their rank.

Yeah! Money is no longer coming from PDP, so the political prostitutes are jumping over to the ruling party in droves.
This man cannot be trusted at all.

Is this a face-saving tactics from the “father” of President Jonathan and Deziani or what?
Because I don’t understand what commending PMB has to do with dumping the party (PDP) that gave you so much power and opportunities (rightly or wrongly), including marrying a new wife and building a capital-intensive university in these twilight years of your life. Na wa o

Now who is remaining in PDP, it’s just a matter of time for the whole pack to crumble. How all of them will live without government patronage is yet to be seen, even the current probes and recoveries is not helping them either.
We all remember sometime in this world when their song was all about “we’ll die for Johnathan, we’ll die for PDP,” now we know all of them na for mouth. Gradually they will start fizzling out, because no more stipends for recharge card.
The truth is that members of PDP as is composed can never play opposition. Next will be the famous Jerry gana and Fani FK. And it will be clear to all that PDP has been a party of deceit.

Papa thank you for being a statesman and accessible to the present leaders to sought for your advise and guidance. Please give Buhari your all cos he need your class to strengthen our nation. I pray that in your new role, Nigeria will benefit from your wisdom and wealth of experience.

Na wa for some Nigerian elders o. Papa Clarke who was among the people that finished ‘the food’ under GEJ could now openly disown the party. I still remember the picture of his last party he threw for PDP family and friends about two days to the presidential election in anticipation of GEJ’s victory. Now GEJ and PDP have all suddenly become evil. APC please watch out and don’t allow this man near you.

Surprise, surprise!!! I only hope Jonathan will learn his true lessons from all these. That most people who hang around you during success and support you to fight your friends (who were there and support you on the road up) are not your real friends. They are just come-and-chop-supporters, unreliable fair-weather friends.
It is shocking that the so-called experienced elders who should fear nothing, but stay around to build a truly opposition party that can checkmate Buhari and his party to advance our democracies are running away secretly. Where are the values? How many of these so-called leaders are the true leaders? What a country!

It is not enough for chief Edwin Clark to come out to tell Nigerians that he has left the PDP party.
We the people expect him to give the reasons why he abruptly dump the party in which he was a strong member, and an authoritative figure.
Please Chief, don’t leave us half way, give us the real story since you have already started it.

Chief Edwin Clark would have been more ‘politically correct’ if he had announced he was quitting active politics altogether. Saying he is quitting PDP suggests he might join another party soon and none will accept him for his controversial politics based on tribal/ethnic sentiments. Daddy Clark should retire!
Suny
Is it too hard for Clark to say he has quit politics? Bamanga honourably bow-out of politics can’t he do likewise?
