Hmm...now military people don take over..but dey sey na fake..we dey watch....Remember the Burundian female police officer who was attacked by a crowd
after she shot at them? Well, video has been released of the moment she
opened fire at close range at rioters, after one of them confronted her
colleague. Moments after she fired at the man confronting her
colleague, other rioters attacked her, separated her from other police
officers, punched and beat her and then dragged her along the streets.
She was later rescued by her colleagues.

According to reports, Burundi's army general Godefroid Niyombare (left)
has announced a coup against President Nkurunziza (right). Says he no
longer recognizes Pierre Nkurunziza as President following massive
protest and unrest over his bid to be re-elected for a third term.
According to the army chief, the army is working with civil society
groups, religious leaders and politicians to form a transitional
government.
He told reporters at a military barracks that the president had violated
the constitution by seeking a third term.
