Don’t Return, Mourinho Tells Torres

jose_mourinho
From fry-pan to fire seems to be the case of £50million man, Fernando Torres as AC Milan is ready to terminate his 18 months loan deal while Jose Mourinho is not willing to accept him back into the Chelsea fold.
Since the Spaniard’s big money move to Chelsea from Anfield side, Liverpool, he has failed to sparkle which led to the Blues shipping him out to Sansiro outfit, AC Milan – yet he is found wanting as he could only hit the back of the net once in 10 appearances.
According to the Mirror, the Portuguese does not have space for Torres in his current Chelsea side.
“No. I don’t know but he’s on loan for two seasons at AC Milan,” Mourinho explained when asked about Torres’ possible return in January.
“He’s our player but he’s on loan. We have no space for players in the list. Either in the Champions League or Premier League. That’s an impossible picture.
“But I have to say, nobody from AC Milan made contact with us thinking about that possibility, so probably nothing is true and, more than possibly, he’s happy at Milan and Milan to have him.”
However, there are strong indications that Brendan Rodgers maybe interested in taking the striker back to Anfield as £16m man Mario Balotelli has failed to carry the goal-scoring responsibilities of the club since the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
