2015: Buhari’s campaign gets N54m boost...See all that happened

interesting......The presidential flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, says he has received N54 million from Nigerians in support of his campaign for the 2015 elections.
Buhari, who disclosed this during a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday, added that his support groups had risen to 82 with membership in all regions of the country.
“So far, Nigerians have donated N54,415. 70 to support our campaign ahead of the 2015 presidential election and currently 82 support groups have been registered under the Buhari Support Organisations (BSO).
“The BSO has 475,796 coordinators and a total membership in the region of 8,492, 226 across the country.’’
He thanked the donors for donating generously “to actualise our dreams and we intend to use the registration and donation cards to enlist the members of the groups as volunteer change agents’’.
Buhari, however, warned that only the authorised account designated for the crowd-funding, which he is the sole signatory to, is the BSO account with First Bank Nigeria PLC.
“I know we live in difficult times. There is insecurity, corruption, poverty and above all the uncertainty of lives which is becoming unbearable...
“I want to appeal to our supporters to continue making sacrifice till we get the needed change,’’ he urged

Presidential candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari was also in Lagos yesterday to meet with a small group of his most passionate volunteers – and after an engaging evening of ideas, vision, and intense engagement on the future of the country.

The event had in attendance his key supporters including Governor Babatunde Fashola, Nasir el-Rufai, Director General of the campaign, Governor Rotimi Amaechi and Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora. There were joined by several prominent young leaders volunteering for his campaign. 2015 go hot sha...hehehe


“The fall of the Soviet Union informed my change of mind, towards the idea of multi-party democracy,” he said about his staunch belief in the power of democracy.”

“I flew into Adamawa as Head of State and that was the last we heard of Maitatsine (sect)," he said of fighting insurgents when he was Head of State.

“This is the beginning of a series of engagements,” he told the volunteers after a robust question and answer session. “We will keep you updated on series of engagements from January. Follow @thisisbuhari."

One of the excited volunteers tweeted after: ‘I had doubts, because I was not born when he was President,” said talent manager, Isioma Osaje. “But tonight I have zero doubts. My vote come 2015 is for CHANGE.”





After the event, he stopped by at the screening of Saro The Musical, a production written by Bolanle Austen-Peters and produced by Terra Kulture. He also watched play stage in lagos...hehehe
APC presidential candidate Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Sen. Mamora and El Rufai were at Muson Centre Lagos yesterday also to watch Saro the Musical. 2015 things...hehehe
