Kwankwaso to declare presidential ambition October 28

The Kano State Governor and All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso is to formally declare his presidential ambition on Tuesday, the 28th of October.
Dr. Kwankwaso will be the 4th presidential aspirant on the platform of the opposition APC to declare their intention to contest the party’s presidential primaries.
The Kano State governor disclosed this at the African House of the Kano State Government House, Kano when he had a meeting with APC stakeholders on Monday.
The governor, who blamed his inability to declare formally before now on the Federal Government, said the government in Abuja has been deliberately blocking him from using public places in the capital city for his formal declaration. This, he described as irritating and undemocratic.
According to him, “the Eagle Square proposed venue seems to be impossible, even the International Conference Centre, as we are now struggling for an alternative venue for the declaration. So, if I fail to secure a venue, I will invite you all to the streets of Abuja, that is where we are now and we can hold it there.”
