I wish her well...They want her to give birth to a girl...hehehe...The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton who is 7 days overdue has been rushed to St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, west London, where she is due to give birth in the private Lindo Wing hospital where she is now in labour.

Kate and  Prince William haven't revealed the gender of their 2nd baby who is the fourth in line to the throne, but they sent breakfast to The Royal baby watchers camped at the hospital with pink ribbons so we're guessing that this baby may be a girl.

Jonathan questions Buhari’s victory

President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday picked holes in the results of the March 28 presidential election, saying “the Peoples Democratic Party couldn’t have got those kinds of scores” it had in some places.

Jonathan, who spoke shortly after receiving the report of the Senator Ahmadu Ali-led PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation   at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, however advised that since the general elections were over, the country must be allowed to move forward.

President Zuma calls GEJ over xenophobic attacks

Okoooo....President Zuma of South Africa has reportedly put a call across to President Jonathan to express his sadness over the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa. He appealed to President Jonathan not to allow the incident affect the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Reports of the phone call is contained in a statement released by the office of the South African president today April 30th. The statement in part below

“The two Presidents reaffirmed the warm and cordial relations between South Africa and Nigeria and pledged that the two countries will continue to work together for the good of their peoples and the continent as a whole. President Jonathan expressed his support for the efforts of South Africa to arrest the attacks on foreign nationals and to ensure the safety and security of all citizens, including foreign nationals and those from the African continent in particular, who bore the brunt of the attacks earlier this month (April).”

Oh dear..This footballer dies after collapsing during a match..RIP

RIP broda....24 year old Belgian footballer Gregory Mertens died today April 30th in the hospital, three days after he collapsed during a match. Doctors said he died of heart failure.

The former Belgium Under-21 international fell during the first half of a match on Monday April 27th. He was first treated on the pitch but when they realized it was serious, he was rushed to the hospital where he was placed on life support. His condition didn't improve and today his family agreed his life support should be switched off. He passed away around 4pm yesterday.

"Gregory was only one-and-a-half years at the club, but in that short time his quiet modesty made him an indispensable person. Now we will have to learn to live with the loss." his club said in a statement. May his soul rest in peace, amen.

Michael, alongside one Mr Patrick Eboigbodin, an aide to former Governor Lucky Igbinedion were dragged before a federal high court in Benin city on an 81 count charge bordering on money laundering said to be carried out while Lucky Igbinedion was still governor of Edo state.

This Man commits suicide inside uncompleted building in Ogun state

Na wa ooo.....An unidentified man was found dead in an uncompleted building located in Sefu Elelede street in the Ibafo area of Ogun State. He is suspected to have committed suicide.

According to Punch, the young man was found dead in the living room section of the building by an electrician who had come to carry out some work in the building. The electrician immediately raised an alarm and contacted the woman who owned the building. The landlady immediately contacted the Ibafo Police Division who drafted a team of police men and a medical doctor to the scene.
