Trump was advisor and financial strategist for Mike Tyson in 1988.
After Tyson fired his long-time manager Bill Cayton, Tyson asked Trump to step in as a career advisor and help navigate legal and contractual disputes.
Trump helped promote and host major fights, such as Tyson's 91-second knockout of Michael Spinks at Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, and acted as a financial and strategic consultant to Tyson.
The formal advisory relationship was relatively short-lived, lasting only a few months, though the Trump and Tyson maintained a long-term personal friendship till date.
