MUST READ......DELTA STATE REPORT OF DAY 1 (14TH, JULY 2025) ON THE HEALTH SYSTEMS STRENGTHENING/ CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT AND WEB TOOL PROGRAM WORKSHOP.*

 


The PS SMoH, Dr Philomena Okeowo, representating the *HCH, Dr Joseph Onojaeme,* with his opening remarks.


The workshop started at about 10:15am and witnessed the presence of the Permanent Secretary SMoH who also represented the HCH, DHPRS SMoH, DPRS DSPHCDA, Development Partners, The Focal Person for M&E Work stream from the SCO, Dr Ogeh Ajiroghene, Facilitators, six National Health Fellows, the media and participants.


It began with an opening prayer, which was followed by the National Anthem.

A minute silence was made in honour of our late immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari.

Everyone introduced themselves.

The DHPRS SMoH gave her welcome remarks.

The HCH, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, gave his opening remarks. This was done by the PS SMoH, Dr Philomena Okeowo.

This was followed by goodwill messages of DPs present.


Pretest was done.

A 12 minute video of the TA to the CMH&SW, Dr Ashiru Adamu Abubakar, was displayed to set the stage and what the workshop is all about.


The other sessions were taken by the Facilitators, including those done by the SCO's M&E Work Stream focal person, Dr Ajiroghene Ogeh.

Most of the meeting was  participatory as participants were asking questions and being asked as well especially during presentation by each group after the group work.
