Twitter users share the gains of getting married late after lady who is set to wed at 44 announced her upcoming wedding and wrote 'I was waiting for me'

 

Twitter users who got married when they were much older are sharing the gains of getting married late.

 

They got prompted after a lady who is set to wed at 44 shared her gains of getting married after turning 40.

 

In a post shared on her Twitter handle, @deesha mentioned that she now has clarity and maturity now which wouldn't have been able to access in her 20s and 30s. She averred that the wait would make her become a better partner. She mentioned that she was waiting all along for herself to get ready for marriage and not that she was waiting for her man to come.

 

''I’m very excited to get married this year, at age 44. There’s a maturity and clarity that I would have never been able to access in my 20’s or 30’s to be a healthy partner. I will never say I waited for him all my life. I was waiting for me.''
