The Senior Assistant on Media to Bayelsa Deputy Governor, Clement Ovokeroye Paul, has shared a photo of himself and his wife taken 20 years ago as they celebrate their first marriage anniversary on Sunday, March 6.
Ovokeroye said that he met his wife 20 years ago while running an errand in his village, adding that it was rigorous winning her heart.
The couple, who have a child together got married a year ago.
Read his post below:
It was about this time twenty (20) years ago I mustered courage to ambushed my wife while returning from an errand in the village. Yeah, there were no smart phones nor social media platforms then.
How rigorous it was to win her heart and, the obstacles we surmounted peregrinating to our matrimony nineteen (19) years after, is an interesting story. She can tell the history very aptly.
We made no mistake "walking down the aisle" customarily last year; it's its anniversary already. And I am very fortunate to have her, so she's too.
She's a Queen because she made me a King .
God bless our matrimonial home with all that we desire, to live together forever in love, peace and prosperity. Amen!
