He was only 18,
An orphan brought up by an aged Grandmum,
He just finished the one year spiritual year programme,
He is of Sokoto Diocese
He hails from Uga, Anambra State.
He had not written even one exam in the seminary.
He was chosen randomly with a Doctor's wife and both of them were shot dead in the kidnappers' den
His young body bruised and shot at
Albeit, they were calling the old grandma and requested 40million
His only crime was a desire to serve God
Young, handsome and promising.
Yet his Country failed him
The society failed him,
Yes we all failed him!
Bro. Michael Nnadi I know you are resting now
The unfading crown came early for you,
Look on us and intercede for us still in this valley of tears
NIGERIA!
One more innocent blood sunk in thy soil
When shalt thou end this filthy toil
In gloom sadness our heads recoil
And in anger our hearts still boil!
I wonder what that old GrandMum is going through now.
