MUST READ ABEG.........Twitter users explain why there's a 'high rate of divorce' among newlywed Nigerian couples based in the U.S.

A Twitter user pointed out that there's a high rate of divorce amongst newlywed Nigerians in the US and he went on to offer a theory that explains why that is so. Another Twitter user also gave a reason for this by narrating her cousin's personal experience.

According to Twitter users who responded to the tweet, the high rate of divorce can be as a result of the Nigerian men going abroad with the same mentality they had in Nigeria, expecting the women there to endure the same things Nigerian women in Nigeria endure. However, they find out too late that the Nigerian women there have alternatives.
